Pit Stop is built to be private. The short version: we do not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any of your data. Everything you enter stays on your device.
Nothing. Pit Stop does not require an account, email address, or sign-in. The vehicles, reminders, mileage, and service history you enter are stored only in local storage on your own iPhone. None of it is sent to us or to anyone else.
Pit Stop contains no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party software development kits that would collect information about you or your device. We do not track your location, your usage, or your identity.
If you grant permission, Pit Stop schedules local reminder notifications on your device. These are generated and delivered entirely on your iPhone — they do not pass through any server, and no notification content leaves your device.
Because all data lives on your device, you are always in full control of it. You can delete individual reminders or vehicles at any time, or use "Reset all data" in Settings to erase everything. Deleting the app removes all of its data from your device.
Pit Stop is a general-audience utility and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
